Test day
What to do the morning of the test
Night before: stop new vocabulary. Sleep. Pack original passport or CNIC — the same ID you used to book — and the confirmation email on your phone.
Morning: eat something ordinary. Do not drink so much tea that you need the washroom in listening. Leave Khayaban-e-Amin / Valencia / DHA with time for Lahore traffic. A late arrival is a lost fee. English Lab does not refund official exam fees; Pearson, British Council, and IDP do not either.
At the centre: phones in the locker. Water as they allow. For PTE and computer IELTS, test the headset when they say you may. If the mic is dead, say so before the first item — not after.
Listening: one play. Notes, not memory. Reading: the clock is the hard part. Writing: answer the task, then the grammar. Speaking: a person or a microphone. Both hate a memorised cue card.
After: you will not get the official score from us. IELTS and PTE reports come from the test body. Bring that report to class only if you want an improvement module on the skill that failed.
