Legal notice — English Lab, HHC, and the test bodies
This page sits over the privacy, terms, refund, and conduct pages. It states who is who, so a student, a parent, or a university is not confused by logos on a training site.
1. Three kinds of organisation
English Lab is the IELTS and PTE training room at 124 CCA, Block A, Khayaban-e-Amin, Lahore. It sells training. It does not sell exam seats, visas, or university places.
Hoist Horizons Consultancy (HHC) is the study-abroad desk in the same building. Universities, scholarships, and visa files live there. Using English Lab does not enrol you as an HHC client. Using HHC does not enrol you in a class. Each has its own file and its own fee.
Official test bodies in Pakistan are the British Council and IDP (IELTS, including IELTS for UKVI at listed SELT centres) and Pearson (PTE Academic, PTE Core, PTE Academic UKVI, PTE Home). They write, deliver, and score the tests. English Lab and HHC are not their partners, franchisees, or official test centres.
2. Names, marks, and logos
IELTS, IELTS for UKVI, British Council, IDP, Pearson, PTE, and Cambridge are trademarks of their owners. They appear on this site only to name the tests we prepare you for. Their appearance is not an endorsement and not a statement that we are a listed test centre.
Official exam fees are paid to British Council, IDP, or Pearson. English Lab may, as a third party, complete a booking on the public portal for a student who cannot do it alone, and may charge a small assistance fee. That fee is not an exam fee.
3. Scores, TRFs, and retakes
Official scores are issued only by the test bodies. Mocks at English Lab are teaching tools. They are not TRFs. Whether a university, visa, or immigration table accepts a retake is that organisation’s decision.
4. What English Lab is liable for
Classroom teaching, the All-in-One PCs we own, the privacy of the contact form, and the conduct of tutors. We do not guarantee a band or a PTE number. We do not refund course fees once paid.
5. No advice, no guarantee
Pages on scoring, concordance, and tips are general training information. They are not legal, immigration, or university-admissions advice. Confirm the live official page before you book or lodge.
